Every five minutes, a woman is diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer — cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal or vulvar. Too many of these cancers remain overlooked, underfunded, and without reliable screening tools.
Every Five Minutes exists to change that.
Through education, awareness and research support, we are pushing for better testing and earlier detection; to empower women to advocate for themselves and to encourage families to stand with their loved ones. By sharing knowledge, expanding access, and fostering dialogue, we are working to ensure fewer women face late-stage diagnoses and more lives are saved.
At Every Five Minutes, we believe that hard things don’t define us — they reveal us. And together, we can do the hard things that change outcomes and save lives.

It was once believed that the signs and symptoms of gynecologic cancers were silent. We now understand—they whisper. While these symptoms may be vague and easily overlooked, they are the body's early warning signs. Individually, they may not be alarming, but if they persist for more than seven days, it's important to talk to your doctor.
